EK warns that prices of a selection of products will increase by 8%

EK has issued a statement to its customer base regarding upcoming changes to the pricing of some products. In the announcement, it is revealed that a selection of EK products will soon become more expensive, with an average price increase of eight percent starting on the 31st of March.

In the interest of being completely open, EK wanted to warn customers in advance that certain changes will be implemented in the coming weeks. Due to variables such as raw material sourcing challenges, material prices, and labour expenses, EK will increase the pricing of a selected range of its products.

These adjustments will take effect on March 31st, 2023, and the price hike will only apply to specific goods. On average, prices will rise by 8%. Moreover, these price alterations won't affect any order placed before March 31st.

With the price increase on EK water cooling components, customers will probably be inclined to check its competitors, including brands such as Corsair, Thermaltake, Bykski and Alphacool. For graphics cards in particular, customers can also get one with a pre-installed water block instead of using one from EK, but if these are made by EK (a reasonable number of WB GPUs already are), then the price of these particular models may also increase.
