The Last of Us Part II making-of documentary announced

In recent years, we have seen a surge in the number of internally-developed video game documentaries, with the likes of Sony and Microsoft giving deeper insight into the creation of their titles. One of the first studios to embrace this format was Naughty Dog, releasing a documentary for The Last of Us all the way back in 2014. A decade later, ‘Grounded II: Making The Last of Us Part II’ has now been announced.

Releasing a trailer to YouTube, Naughty Dog officially announced ‘Grounded II: Making The Last of Us Part II’ saying “Learn directly from the team at Naughty Dog about what it took to bring the acclaimed sequel The Last of Us Part II to life, with a new behind-the-scenes look at development. Stay tuned to Naughty Dog’s official social accounts for details on when to expect the full documentary.”

As of right now, no release date for the documentary has been revealed, however in an interesting move, Naughty Dog revealed that the documentary will be added to The Last of Us Part II Remastered game in a future update post-launch.

That said, as with the first ‘Grounded‘ the documentary will likely also be available on YouTube – if not at launch then hopefully shortly after.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
