Skull and Bones is Finally officially releasing in February 2024

Skull and Bones has had an incredibly turbulent development. After being delayed over half a dozen times and pushed back years beyond its initial release date, the multiplayer Ubisoft pirate game looks to finally, FINALLY be arriving early next year – with an official launch date having been announced at The Game Awards.

Following a report from one insider who claimed that Skull and Bones would finally be launching in February 2024, Ubisoft took to The 2023 Game Awards to confirm the release date, officially revealing that S&B will be coming on the 16th of February.

Of course, with how notorious the game has been regarding its constant push backs, it would not be surprising to see Skull and Bones get yet another delay between now and February.

That said, considering the fact that Ubisoft chose to announce its launch date at one of the biggest gaming events of the year, hopefully they are confident in this final release date. We will have to wait and see.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
