CORSAIR ONE finally embraces 3rd Gen Ryzen CPUs with Corsair One a100

There have been a number of versions of the CORSAIR ONE PC over the years, typically featuring the latest Intel CPUs and Nvidia GPUs. Today, the CORSAIR ONE a100 is launching, the first one in the series to feature 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen processors instead, delivering excellent performance for both productivity and high-end gaming in a small form factor.

The CORSAIR ONE a100 comes in three versions, each equipped with a choice of the Ryzen 9 3900X with 12-cores and 24-threads or the Ryzen 9 3950X with 16-cores and 32-threads. Each CORSAIR ONE also packs 32GB of Vengeance LPX 3200MHz RAM, a Force MP600 NVMe M.2 SSD to take full advantage of PCIe 4.0 and up to Nvidia GeForce RTX 2080Ti graphics.

3rd Gen Ryzen processors arrived almost a year ago, but it has taken some time to get to a point where the full power of one of these CPUs and platform benefits like PCIe 4.0 could be supported in the CORSAIR ONE's unique form factor. With these systems, Corsair takes high-end parts and fits them into a chassis that is less than 25% of the volume of a traditional desktop case.

AMD is of course pleased to be featured in one of these systems, giving the following statement: “AMD is delighted to be working with CORSAIR to bring the power of Ryzen into such a versatile form factor. Harnessing the power of AMD Ryzen 3000 desktop processors, The CORSAIR ONE a100 brings industry-leading performance and technology into the hands of gamers worldwide.”

These systems are pricey though, with the Corsair store currently listing a £2,999.99 price tag.

KitGuru Says: The Corsair One continues to be a very impressive small form factor system and now, it is available with Ryzen under the hood, which is great news. What do you all think of the Corsair One a100?
