Valve has announced dates for Steam Autumn and Winter sales

We're heading towards the last few months of the year, which means there are still a few seasonal Steam sales left on the calendar. Following on from leaks earlier this year, Valve has now publicly confirmed the dates for the Steam Autumn Sale and the Steam Winter Sale.

The final sales of the year are all taking place in close proximity this year. The Halloween Sale will take place from the 28th of October to the 1st of November, while the Autumn Sale will start on the 24th of November and end on the 30th of November. Just a few weeks later, the Winter Sale will kick off on the 22nd of December and end on the 5th of January 2022.

While we usually see these dates leaked via SteamDB and other sources, this time around, Valve has decided to just make its Steam events calendar public through the Steamworks developer partner documentation. This page also includes links for registered developers and publishers to participate in these sale events and set discount prices.

We don’t know what Valve might have planned on the event side though. The bigger Steam sales usually feature a community event, where players participate in small activities and can earn achievements, trading cards and even discounts on games.
