Stellar Blade could come to PC, Shift Up considering a sequel too

Stellar Blade officially launched exclusively on PS5 earlier this year to a wave of positive reviews. Now, Shift Up's dazzling action game appears set to arrive on other platforms, like PC, and a sequel is already being considered.

Shift Up, the game studio based in South Korea, is considering bringing its breakout action game, Stellar Blade, to more platforms. While the game launched as a PlayStation exclusive, speaking with Korean website, Inven, a studio representative confirmed that the company is considering bringing the game to PC, something that has become common practise for many PlayStation console exclusives, including many titles developed by Sony's own studios, like God of War, Spider-Man and Horizon.

Beyond that, a Stellar Blade sequel is also on the table, so we could see a return to this IP in the years ahead. In the meantime though, Shift Up is working on a new project, codenamed ‘Witches', which is targeting a multi-platform release with cross-platform play, although it is also a mobile-focused ‘gacha' game, akin to something like Genshin Impact.

Why is all of this news being shared now? Well, Shift Up is preparing for an IPO, so the company is looking to draw in public investment interest as it prepares to put itself on the Korean Stock Exchange.
