Forza Motorsport, Gotham Knights and more land on Game Pass in October

September was a big month for Game Pass, with Bethesda's latest RPG Starfield releasing onto the service on day-one. As we look ahead to October, Microsoft has a few more big games planned, including the latest Forza Motorsport game.

The big headliner for Game Pass in October is Forza Motorsport. The new next-gen racer from Turn 10 was originally planned to release earlier in the year but the game was eventually pushed back to late 2023. Like other first-party Xbox games, Forza Motorsport will be available day-one through Game Pass.

Here's the full list of games hitting Game Pass over the next couple of weeks, including dates and platforms:

  • Gotham Knights (Cloud, Console and PC) – Available today
  • The Lamplighter's League (Cloud, Console and PC) – Available today
  • Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy (Cloud, Console and PC) – Available today
  • Warhammer 40,000K Darktide (Cloud and Xbox Series X/S) – October 4th
  • Forza Motorsport (Cloud, Console and PC) – October 10th
  • From Space (Cloud, Console and PC) – October 12th
  • Like A Dragon: Ishin! (Cloud, Console and PC) – October 17th

There will be another round of Game Pass titles arriving in the second half of the month.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
