Lies of P update adds DualSense support on PC and more

Lies of P is the latest Souls-like to capture the hearts of fans, letting you play as the famous Pinocchio in a cruel, dark Belle Époque world. The team at NEOWIZ have been supporting the game greatly since its launch last week, with the title’s 1.2 patch now going live – adding support for the DualSense on PC alongside dozens of other changes.

Releasing the patch notes onto its Steam page, the Lies of P developers officially detailed update 1.2, which brings with it:

  • Field Monster Balance Changes
  • Decrease the HP of all 3 types of Dimensional Butterflies
  • Adjusted the rewards for some monsters
  • Boss Monster Balance Changes
  • System Changes Related to the Character Progression Reset
  • Players will now be able to carry more weight for each point spent on Capacity
  • Successfully performing the Fable Art ‘Guard Parry' will now break the monster's stance
  • Now supports the DUALSHOCK 4 & DualSense controllers on Windows OS devices

This is but a short list of the dozens of changes brought about thanks to patch 1.2, with some of the most significant adjustments being done to certain enemies and their difficulty levels. While some may see it as a nerf, many SoulsBorne fans seem to agree that the changes made were necessary – and so it is good to see the team at NEOWIZ listening to the community.

Following the release of the demo back in June ahead of launch, NEOWIZ conducted many changes to Lies of P based on fan feedback. It seems as though they are continuing to keep an eye on the community and their thoughts – ultimately making for a better overall gaming experience.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
