Logitech G unveils new Superlight 2 gaming mouse and a new G Pro TKL keyboard

The Logitech Superlight returns this year with a brand new model. The new Logitech G Superlight 2 gaming mouse sheds more weight and adds a new sensor for further accuracy. Additionally, Logitech is also introducing the new G Pro X TKL wireless gaming keyboard today.

Logitech G has spent several years working with esports players to finetune its new round of PRO peripherals. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 combines precision, performance and reliability with new Lightforce hybrid switches, an optical-mechanical switch technology to improve response speeds for each click. The new mouse also ships with the HERO 2 sensor, which can track at up to 32,000 DPI. The new dual-array design increases the working range of the sensor to maintain tracking performance even when lifting or tilting the mouse.

As you would expect from a mouse branded as Superlight, the mouse comes in at just 60g, making it half the weight of a G502, which was the go-to gaming mouse for many over the past ten years. The Superlight 2 is wireless as well, with USB-C charging and a 95-hour battery life, as well as compatibility with Logitech Powerplay, so you can passively charge the mouse while you game.

Next up is the new Logitech G Pro X TKL wireless gaming keyboard. Its tenkeyless form factor features programmable keys, RGB lighting with LIGHTSYNC, dedicated media controls and volume roller, and LIGHTSPEED wireless technology. In addition to the LIGHTSPEED dongle, players can connect the keyboard via Bluetooth, or via a USB-C to USB-A cable.

The keyboard features double-shot PBT keycaps that allow the RGB LEDs to shine through and is compatible with third-party keycaps if you wish to replace them. The keyboard is available with either Logitech GX Red switches, which are linear and silent, or GX Blue switches, which are clicky, tactile switches.

The Logitech G Pro X TKL Lightspeed gaming keyboard will be available this month priced at $199. The Logitech G Pro X Superlight 2 Gaming Mouse will be available for $159. Both new peripherals join the Logitech G Pro X Lightspeed Wireless gaming headset, which launched earlier this year.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
