The Elder Scrolls 6 is now in development

The Elder Scrolls 6 was originally announced all the way back in 2018 but we've had no updates on the game since then. The Elder Scrolls 6 has been in pre-production while the bulk of Bethesda focuses on Starfield. Now with the company's space RPG just days away from release, Bethesda's Pete Hines has confirmed that the next Elder Scrolls is in early development.

In an interview with Spanish site Vandal, Bethesda exec Pete Hines was asked about any updates on The Elder Scrolls 6. Surprisingly, we did get a small one, while the game was thought to still be in pre-production until after Starfield's release, the game is actually in development now, although it is still very early.

Production should ramp up in the months following Starfield's launch, although we do know that Bethesda is also planning at least one DLC for that game and according to Hines in the same interview, Bethesda has ideas for other DLCs, so we could be in for even more Starfield content down the line.

Given that The Elder Scrolls 6 is in early development, we're still likely 4+ years away from getting our hands on it.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
