Roblox VR announced for Meta Quest 2 and 3

Roblox is one of the biggest games of all time, amassing a total monthly user base of over 200 million players. Creative games such as Roblox are ripe for virtual reality support, and so following the addition of VR to the PC version of Roblox, the massive multiplayer game will soon be coming to the Meta Quest.

Making the announcement on their website, the Roblox team said “Today, more than 66 million users join Roblox every day across a wide range of mobile devices (iOS and Android), desktops, and Xbox. Roblox, one of the largest 3D immersive platforms, will soon be available on Meta Quest, the leading VR headset. Roblox on Meta Quest is available for any user 13 and older.”

The Quest version will first launch through Meta’s App Lab as an open beta “in the coming weeks” –  though no details were shared regarding a full launch. It is worth noting that as with many recent Quest games, the first generation headset will not be supported.

With the likes of VR Chat making a huge impact on standalone Meta Quest devices, it will be interesting to see just how Quest owners take advantage of this new community gaming platform.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
