Xbox announces surprising new partnership for Forza Horizon 5

To celebrate the release of the new “Barbie” movie, Warner Bros. Pictures, Mattel, and Xbox have partnered up to launch exclusive in-game content for Forza Horizon 5, as well as the first-ever Xbox Barbie dolls, and plenty of pink-coloured Xbox hardware.

Starting with the in-game content coming to Forza Horizon 5, the collaboration will bring in-game versions of Barbie's 1956 Chevrolet Corvette EV and 2022 GMC Hummer EV Pickup. All players will receive these themed cars as gifts. To redeem these gifts, just download them from the in-game Message Center.

As for Xbox Barbie dolls, there will be ten of them. Reflecting the diverse Barbie line, these dolls have been paired with the latest Xbox Gear fashion, including an Xbox Series S console, a wireless controller, and an adaptive controller. These dolls will be obtainable through international sweepstakes.

Lastly, the custom pink-coloured Xbox hardware will collection will include five new Xbox Wireless controller faceplates designed after the movie's outfits for Barbie and Ken. Moreover, Xbox is offering a playful custom console design featuring the glamorous Barbie Dream House. Fans have a chance to win this special Xbox Series S console, transformed into the Barbie Dream House, starting on July 10th through Xbox's Twitter and Microsoft Rewards.

And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
