Microsoft will host another games showcase in July

Microsoft just held its big Xbox Games Showcase this month but more game announcements are on the way. In July, Microsoft will hold an ID@Xbox showcase, focusing on new indie games heading to Xbox and Game Pass.

Just like last year, Microsoft will hold an ID@Xbox showcase event in the Summer. The event will be broadcasted via a variety of platforms, including IGN's social media and streaming channels, Roku, Pluto TV, Apple TV, and Plex Live TV.

Additionally, the ID@Xbox Summer Game Fest demo event will return from July 11th to 17th. During this period, players will have the chance to download and try out upcoming titles for Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. Unfortunately, it seems PC gamers won't get access to any of these demos, but at least we have Steam Next Fest.

For comparison, last year's ID@Xbox Summer event featured over 30 demos of unreleased indie games, including Metal: Hellsinger, Shadowrun Returns, Despot’s Game, and Lost Ruins.

KitGuru says: Are you planning to watch the event? What games are you expecting to be revealed and showcased during the ID@Xbox Digital showcase?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
