Nvidia has quietly revised RTX 40 pricing in the UK and EU

The RTX 4090 and RTX 4080 graphics cards have been out for a little while now but both graphics cards are already seeing price drops in the UK and Europe. After a few weeks on the market, Nvidia has revised its MSRP pricing in certain regions, bringing the Founders Edition cost down by up to five percent.

Here in the UK, the RTX 4090 Founders Edition was originally supposed to have a £1679 price tag but due to the pound becoming weaker against the dollar, it ended up launching at £1699. Now, Nvidia has revised the Founders Edition price again, bringing it down to £1599.

It is a similar story with the RTX 4080, which launched with a UK price of £1269, but has now been reduced to £1199 for the Founders Edition card. As reported by HardwareLuxx, a similar price drop has occurred in Europe, with the RTX 4090 price dropping from €1,949 to €1,859 and the RTX 4080 price dropping from €1,469 to €1,399.

Even with the price cut, these are still very expensive graphics cards and custom-cooled versions from board partners are still going to be substantially more expensive. Still, there might be further adjustments to come, as there is a rumour claiming that Nvidia is planning to revise the RTX 4080's price tag in mid-December.
