Sony is reportedly developing wireless earbuds and new headsets for PS5

Sony is expanding its roster of gaming peripherals, with plans for new wireless earbuds and headsets designed to match up with the PS5 console.

According to InsiderGaming, Sony is developing a set of wireless earbuds codenamed Project Nomad. These earbuds would reportedly have a battery life of up to five hours and come with a charging case using a USB-C port.

On top of Project Nomad, Sony is also reportedly working a Project Voyager, a new headset for the PlayStation 5 offering specs and features similar to those of the Inzone H7 headset.

Voyager and Nomad are expected to release in a similar time frame, around the end of Sony's FY23 (ends on March 2024). Hopefully, we can hear more about them in the next State of Play stream, which is rumoured to take place in March.

KitGuru says: Adding these two audio devices to the rumoured PS5 with a detachable disc and the PSVR2, it seems 2023 will be a year with plenty of hardware launches from Sony.
