The Street Fighter 6 Open Beta kicks off this weekend

Capcom has run a series of closed beta tests for Street Fighter 6 over the last few months. Now as we near the game's June release date, Capcom has announced dates for the game's open beta.

The Street Fighter 6 Open Beta will be available from the 19th to the 21st of May for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. The game will include the same content as the second closed beta test from earlier this year.

There will be eight characters included in the beta, including Luke, Jamie, Chun Li, Juri, Kimberly, Guile, Ryu and Ken. In preparation, Capcom has also uploaded a number of character guides to the Street Fighter YouTube channel, breaking down the moves of each character.

The full game will release next month on the 2nd of June.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
