Overclocker sets new Cinebench R23 multi-core world record with Intel Xeon W9-3945X

A new Cinebench R23 multi-core world record has been set with an overclocked Intel Xeon W9-3945X, beating the previous score that was achieved using the same processor.

The previous CB R23 multi-core world record was from safedisk, who had overclocked the Intel Xeon W9-3945X to 5.22GHz, allowing it to score 128,391 points on the benchmark. However, that score has now been beaten by OGS, who scored 132,484 points.

To achieve this score, the greek overclocker (via TechPowerUp) pushed the CPU to 5.4GHz across all cores on an Asus Pro WS W790E-Sage SE motherboard with 128GB of G.Skill Zeta R5 DDR5-6000 memory (CL30-37-37-45-20). Like most extreme overclockers, the processor was cooled using LN2.

Besides this record, OGS has also been occupied with setting multiple others in Cinebench R20, Y-Cruncher, and Geekbench 3 with various Intel Xeon W2400/3400-series CPUs. Moreover, the overclocker also set a new world record for the 3DMark Time Spy Extreme with an RTX 4090 graphics card.
