The PS Plus Collection will no longer be available from next week

Back in February, Sony confirmed plans to remove the PlayStation Plus Collection from the PS5's PS Store this year. The PS Plus Collection is a set of 20 best-selling titles from the PS4 generation, all backwards compatible and playable on the PS5. If you have yet to claim these games, you'll need to do so soon, as the May 9th deadline is just around the corner.

The PS Plus Collection will no longer be available from the 9th of May. If you have a PS5, you can still claim all the games included in it up to that date, just as long as you have an active PS+ subscription.

As a reminder, the games in the PS Plus Collection include:

  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • Battlefield 1
  • Bloodborne
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 3
  • Crash Bandicoot: N-Sane Trilogy
  • Days Gone
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • Fallout 4
  • Final Fantasy 15 Royal Edition
  • God of War (2018)
  • Infamous: Second Son
  • Monster Hunter: World
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Persona 5
  • Ratchet & Clank (2016)
  • Resident Evil 7 Biohazard
  • The Last Guardian
  • The Last of Us Remastered
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
  • Until Dawn

KitGuru Says: The PS Plus Collection was a steal for early PS5 buyers but unfortunately, the offer won't be around for much longer. If you have a PS5 and haven't claimed these games, grab them while you still can.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
