Quantum Break returns to Game Pass and digital stores

Just a couple of weeks after being removed from digital stores and Xbox Game Pass, Quantum Break has officially returned. The game had to be removed due to expiring licenses but it would seem that Microsoft and Remedy were swiftly able to fix the problem.

Quantum Break had to be removed from digital stores and Xbox Game Pass in early April. At the time, Microsoft and Remedy had already confirmed that negotiations were already underway to restore licenses and get the game back online.

In a surprise announcement yesterday, Microsoft confirmed that Quantum Break is now officially back, available on digital stores and through Xbox Game Pass once again.

Quantum Break launched as an Xbox One exclusive but eventually made its way over to PC as one of the earliest UWP titles, which in turn caused a bunch of issues. Microsoft eventually dropped the UWP app requirement for PC games.

KitGuru Says: Quantum Break is worth playing if you've never tried it. It is a quick action-heavy game, so it doesn't require much of a time investment but if you've enjoyed Remedy's other single-player games, then chances are you'll like Quantum Break too.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
