Capcom releases Street Fighter 6 demo

Street Fighter 6 is on the way this summer and Capcom is ramping up to launch with the surprise release of a new demo. The demo is out now on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, with plans for an Xbox and PC demo next week.

The Street Fighter 6 demo was dropped for PlayStation consoles immediately following a showcase stream last night. The demo will become available for Xbox Series X/S and PC players on the 26th of April.

The demo includes a limited part of the game's World Tour single-player mode, as well as the custom character creator. Characters you make for the World Tour mode can be transferred to the final game at launch.

Aside from the new demo, Capcom has also unveiled the first wave of DLC characters for the game. Between autumn 2023 and spring 2024, four new DLC characters will be added to the game, including Rashid, A.K.I, Ed and Akuma. Two of these characters return from Street Fighter V.

Street Fighter 6 will officially release on the 2nd of June.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
