Xbox Games Showcase dated for June 11th

Microsoft has now confirmed when its big summer showcase will take place. Xbox Game Studios and Bethesda will be taking the stage together once again on the 11th of June.

This announcement came alongside Starfield's delay and release date announcement earlier this afternoon. The Xbox Games Showcase will air on the 11th of June, and immediately after, Bethesda will be hosting Starfield Direct, a separate show dedicated to showing off more of the game ahead of its September release.

As is the case every year, we can expect a mix of new game announcements and updates for previously announced titles. Microsoft typically saves the biggest announcements for its summer showcase, so this is where we are most likely to see updates for exclusives like Avowed or Hellblade 2.

It is too early in the year for any new game announcements to leak and typically Microsoft is able to keep a tight lid on its summer showcases. Still, we'll keep an eye out for any potential clues as to what might show up.

KitGuru Says: Wolfenstein 3 has been rumoured for years so that is my long-shot hope this year, I've also got my fingers crossed for updates on Avowed and Hellblade 2. Is there anything you'd like to see Xbox announce this year?
