Black Ops 7 Season 2 adds tons of maps, weapons and much more

Prior to the launch of Call of Duty Black Ops 7, the team at Treyarch promised to offer some of the best-post launch content we’ve seen in series history (at least the best since the franchise went the live-service route). So far, they seem to be keeping to their word, with Season 2 of Black Ops 7 arriving later today alongside major updates across all modes.

Going live later today, Season 2 of Black Ops 7 is set to introduce a boatload of additional content across the board. Though there are far too many changes to list here, some of the most notable include:

  • New Endgame bosses
  • New Endgames skill tracks and abilities
  • 9 multiplayer maps (including S02 Reloaded)
  • New multiplayer modes, scorestreaks and LTMs
  • Black Ops 7 multiplayer Ranked Play
  • New Zombies survival map
  • Cursed Survival zombies mode
  • Zombies starting room challenge mode
  • New major zombies map: Paradox Junction (S02 Reloaded)

Alongside this, Warzone is also set to receive a bunch of additions and changes, including refreshed perks, maps, modes and more (with the Black Ops 4 inspired Blackout mode said to be arriving during S02 Reloaded.

Last but certainly not least, Season 2 (and Reloaded) introduces a strong line-up of new weapons and gameplay-altering attachments, including:

  • REV-46 (SMG)
  • EGRT-17 (AR)
  • H311-SAW (Melee)
  • GDL Havoc (Special)
  • SG-12 (Shotgun)
  • Voyak KT-3 (AR)
  • Swordfish A1 (Marksman Rifle)
  • XM325 Titan Wield [attachment]

  • A.R.C. M1 Assault Frame [attachment]
  • Razor 9mm Wildfire Conversion [attachment]
  • Echo 12 Backlash Launcher Kit [attachment]

All in all, Black Ops 7 Season 2 looks to be jam-packed full of content, whether you are a fan of Multiplayer, Zombies, Warzone or the new Endgame mode.

Hopefully the teams at Treyarch / Activision are able to keep up with their current output throughout the rest of Black Ops 7’s life cycle. Full details on everything coming with Season 2 can be found HERE.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
