Resident Evil 4 Remake demo now available on all platforms

Last night during the Capcom Spotlight stream, the publisher officially unveiled the Resident Evil 4 Remake demo. The demo is already available for PC, Xbox and PlayStation, giving players a chance to play a portion of the game early.

The Resident Evil 4 Remake demo, otherwise known as the Chainsaw demo, takes place near the start of the game just as Leon discovers the village where most of the game is set. Unlike previous Resident Evil demos, there is no time limit in place, so you can play the available section of the game as much as you want.

The demo comes just a few weeks ahead of the full game, which is heading to PC, Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PS4 on the 24th of March.

Judging by the feedback on Reddit, the demo is going down well with fans. Fingers crossed the final game gets the same positive reception later in the month.

KitGuru Says: I've loved playing through the Resident Evil remakes and I hope that will continue with RE4. The demo impressions seem good, but as this will be my first time playing this game properly, I'll be saving myself for the final game.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
