Fortnite’s first-person mode is reportedly coming next season

Since its release, many Fortnite players have been asking for a first-person mode. This has been tested in limited-time events previously, but soon, it looks like first-person gameplay will become a staple mode for the Battle Royale game.

According to HYPEX, three different sources have confirmed the new game mode will release next season, giving more credit to the rumour. With the current season ending on March 8th, we may see the new mode debut as soon as this week or next (depending on whether Epic Games will have the game offline some days or not). However, it's still unclear if the mode will be available as soon as Chapter 4 Season 2 starts or if it will release later on.

Many weapons in Fortnite already feature a first-person mode when aiming. However, the game doesn't feature any game mode that locks the camera to that point of view, like PUBG: Battlegrounds has.

Besides the first-person mode, the upcoming season is also rumoured to include a new battle pass packing Attack on Titan-themed cosmetics, as the leaker claims.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
