Paradox teams up with Xbox for new game showcase

Out of nowhere, Paradox Interactive has announced its next game showcase and interestingly, the publisher is teaming up with Xbox for the occasion. This likely indicates a bigger partnership at play, likely to bring more Paradox titles to Xbox Game Pass.

In the event, Colossal Order (Cities: Skylines), Harebrained Schemes  (Shadowrun Trilogy and Battletech), and Paradox Tectonic (a new studio led by Rod Humble) will showcase new games and expansions and free updates coming to pre-existing titles. It's unclear what games will be featured in the event, but we know it includes Crusader Kings III and Europa Universalis. Other franchises that could be present at this event include Stellaris, Hearts of Iron, Cities, Prison Architect, Victoria, Age of Wonders and the World of Darkness.

Unlike previous shows from Paradox, this one will be powered by Xbox. As such, there's a good chance that some of the titles seen in this show will be available for Xbox consoles. Moreover, there's also the possibility that the publisher will announce new Xbox Game Pass games.

Paradox's Announcement Show 2023 will take place on March 6th at 9 am PT/12 pm ET/5 pm GMT. The event will be broadcast on Paradox's YouTube and Twitch channels.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
