Official Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom Switch console leaks in high quality

Right at the tail end of 2022, photos of what was claimed to be a limited edition The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom OLED Switch ware leaked. The images released were relatively low quality though appeared to be legit. Though yet to be officially announced, high quality promotional images of the console have now leaked, all-but-confirming its existence.

Many Tears of the Kingdom leaks have sprung up in recent days, primarily focused on aspects external to the game itself (such as pages from an upcoming artbook). Late last year some relatively blurry images of what was alleged to be an upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom OLED Switch were released. While some of the details were discernible, the low-res nature of the pictures did not do the console justice.

Fortunately, Twitter user “iiulink Hua” has published high quality official promotional images of the console, offering us a better look at the unannounced console variant.

As with many Zelda consoles, this OLED Switch features a great deal of gold in its colouring alongside a complimentary white secondary pattern and colour. Interestingly, the left Joy-Con seems to be corrupted in the same way as Link’s arm – as we have seen from various trailers released so far.

With the system initially leaking late last year many fans were expecting an official announcement at the February Nintendo Direct – though this ultimately did not come to be. We will have to wait and  see when Nintendo chooses to officially announce the system.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
