Horizon Forbidden West is heading to PS+ Extra this month

We're due for another PS+ library update very soon for Extra and Premium subscribers. As has been the case for months now, the list of upcoming titles has leaked days ahead of official announcement. Interestingly, it looks like Horizon Forbidden West will be hitting the service much sooner than anticipated.

Many gamers have likely heard of billbil-kun, a leaker that regularly posts game deals and leaks upcoming titles for services like PS+ days ahead of official announcement. In his latest post, we get our first look at the next update for PS+ Extra and Premium subscribers, which will be made available on the 21st of February.

The upcoming games list includes Horizon Forbidden West, Scarlet Nexus, Resident Evil 7 and Borderlands 3. bilbil-kun notes that there will likely be more in Sony's official announcement.

Interestingly, Horizon Forbidden West is hitting the catalogue just one year on from its official release. This leaves us wondering why Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart wasn't included a couple of months ago during the anniversary celebration, which brought most other previous games in the series to PS+ subscribers, although some were only available through streaming.

KitGuru Says: What do you all think of this month's PS+ Extra update? The addition of Horizon Forbidden West is particularly interesting, as Sony has been slow to bring newer titles to the service with just a couple of notable exceptions, like Returnal and Demon Souls.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
