PS+ Extra and Premium October games announced

While Sony isn't offering day-one titles, it has brought a very decent selection of games to PS+ Extra and Premium, and there have been consistent monthly updates. The next batch of titles for the new PS+ tiers has now been revealed, including older hits like Dragon Quest XI, Dragon Quest Builders 1&2, a healthy dose of Assassin's Creed, The Medium and more.

As of October 18th, the following titles will be added to the PS+ Extra catalogue:

  • Grand Theft Auto: Vice City – The Definitive Edition
  • Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age – Definitive Edition
  • Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
  • Dragon Quest Builders
  • Dragon Quest Builders 2
  • Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below
  • Dragon Quest Heroes II: Explorer’s Edition
  • Inside
  • The Medium
  • Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India
  • Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: Russia
  • Assassin’s Creed III Remastered
  • Assassin’s Creed Syndicate
  • Hohokum

PS+ Premium subscribers will get additional games. Here's the full list of ‘Classics' joining the library on October 18th:

  • Yakuza 3 Remastered
  • Yakuza 4 Remastered
  • Yakuza 5 Remastered
  • Limbo
  • Ultra Street Fighter IV
  • Castlevania: Lords of Shadow
  • Everyday Shooter

If you subscribe to the base PS+ or the higher tiers, then you'll also have several free games to claim this month, including Hot Wheels Unleashed, Injustice 2 and Superhot.
