Intel Core i9-13900K tops PassMark single-thread performance ranking

PassMark has a new processor at the top of the single-thread performance chart. The new chip is none other than the Intel Core i9-13900K with a whopping 4,833 points, putting it above the runner-up by almost 10%.

PassMark (via APISAK) has already updated both single-and multi-threaded performance charts with the Intel Core i9-13900K. Here, you can see the 24C/32T processor scores 4,833 points in the single-core test, enough to make it the current top scorer. This score makes it about 9.5% faster than the Core i9-12900K, currently in second place.

In the multi-core test, the 13th Gen Core flagship scored 54,433 points. This score is in line with  the 24C/48T Threadripper 3960X and the 16C/32T Threadripper Pro 5955WX processors.

The PassMark database also features two other 13th Gen Core processors besides the Core i9-13900K. First, we have the Core i7-13700 with 4,347 points on the 1T benchmark and 34,431 points on the nT test. The other is the Core i5-13500, which scored 4,033 points in the 1T benchmark and 30,650 points in the nT test.
