Gigabyte to join list of Intel AIB partners for Arc Alchemist graphics cards

While Intel has launched its first Arc desktop graphics cards, board partners have been slow to adopt Intel's first-gen GPUs. Still, we should see more joining the list soon. According to a newly found EEC database entry, Gigabyte will be the next partner to roll out custom Arc graphics cards.

In the (EEC) filing found by @harukaze5719, Gigabyte has listed a total of five Intel Arc A-series graphics cards. Out of these five, four are A380 GPUs, and the other is an A310. Unfortunately, no A700-series GPUs were found in the listing, but Gigabyte could expand to those at a later date.

The graphics card models found in the filling suggest Gigabyte will launch two Arc A380 Gaming models (OC and non-OC) and two Arc A380 Windforce models (OC and non-OC). As for the A310 GPU, there's only a Windforce variant. The release date of the Gigabyte Arc cards is still unknown.

With Gunnir, ASRock, and Gigabyte, Intel now has three AIB partners selling custom solutions to the DIY market. MSI has also reportedly made Arc A300 series GPUs, but these are apparently exclusive to their pre-built systems. Maybe we'll see them available in PC retailers in the near future.

KitGuru says: The rollout of custom Arc GPUs has been slow, but Intel now has a few board partners onside. Hopefully, Intel's 2nd Gen GPU launch goes a bit smoother with fewer delays.
