Corsair launches its first USB condenser microphone

Corsair is expanding its range of streaming gear with its new VOXARA condenser microphone, promising “studio-grade” vocal recording and broadcasting with plug-and-play friendly USB-C.

At the heart of the VOXARA is a large 25mm condenser capsule engineered to capture voices with greater warmth, detail, and character than standard-sized capsules. VOXARA records in 32-bit audio, providing a wide dynamic range to pick up both quiet and loud moments while offering additional headroom that help reduces the risk of clipping.

As you would expect, this microphone does integrate seamlessly with the Elgato ecosystem, including Wave Link 3.0 for manging your audio set up, routing audio sources, mixing and balancing.

The microphone will look right at home amongst modern gaming peripherals too thanks to the ARGB lighting running through the mic capsule.

The Corsair Voxara is available starting this week, priced at £159.99.
