EA’s Iron Man game might come out sooner than expected

Back in September, EA announced that it would be partnering with Marvel in order to create an Iron Man game. Headed up by EA’s Motive studio, the title has reportedly entered playtesting, suggesting the game might come out sooner than expected.

In a report by Insider-Gaming, it is claimed through sources that EA Motive’s Iron Man game has already entered playtesting, having started yesterday the 31st of October, and is planned to conclude by the 2nd of November.

These playtests are said to be 1-on-1 sessions focused on feedback regarding the game’s plot points, game mechanics, game modes, and more. We do not know how long the studio has been working on this game but considering the fact that the announcement was just last month and was accompanied by a single promotional picture, many believed that the game was still many many years away.

While this is still likely to be the case somewhat, having these feedback sessions right now seems to suggest that the game is further along than expected, meaning we might hopefully see the game sooner rather than later.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
