Mario Party 1 + 2 are coming to Nintendo Switch Online

Each month, Nintendo updates its Switch Online service with a couple new games, giving subscribers the opportunity to play some of the console manufacturer’s most known and loved video games from its past. With November soon to be upon us, Nintendo has now announced next month’s ‘free’ N64 titles.

Making the announcement, the console manufacturer said “Party like it’s the year 1999 (and 2000)! Hit some Dice Blocks and become a Super Star in Mario Party and Mario Party 2, originally released for the Nintendo 64 system, coming to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack members on 11/2 [2nd of November].”

The Mario Party series has had its ups and downs – including on the Nintendo Switch itself – and so it is exciting to see two of the most core and quintessential Mario Party games come to the system. What’s more, thanks to it being part of Nintendo’s Switch Online service, subscribers will be able to play online with friends for the first time.

Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack may not be the best value in gaming, but with each month, the service is certainly becoming more and more worth it.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
