Amazon teases first look at Fallout TV show

For years now, a tv show based on the popular Fallout titles has been in the works at Amazon, and while very little has been shown off so far – barring a vague teaser – we now have our very first look at the show thanks to a newly released screenshot from the show.

October 2022 marks the 25th anniversary of the Fallout franchise. As a celebration, Amazon gave us our first look at the upcoming tv show, saying “Congratulations and Happy 25th Birthday! We made something special for the occasion. #Fallout #Fallout25 @BethesdaStudios @Bethesda @Fallout @Kilter_Films

The picture released gives us very little in the way of new details, however it does confirm that the show is shot with a cinematic aspect ratio as well as the fact that we will be seeing the franchise’s iconic vaults factor into the story. This vault in particular is vault 33, an unknown in the Fallout franchise.

For the uninitiated, each vault in the Fallout series is home to a different form of experimentation – some much crueller than others. It will be interesting to see what vault 33 is all about and just how much it will factor into the story. We will find out more hopefully when the TV show arrives sometime in 2023.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
