Corsair unleashes Amazon Prime Day deals on peripherals, Elgato gear and more

It is Amazon Prime Day, making the next 48 hours a perfect time to pick up a few new bits for your PC setup. If you're in need of some new peripherals, or you're looking to kickstart a stream with some Elgato gear, Corsair has some deals worth checking out over the next couple of days.

If you are in need of a new headset, then Corsair has done particularly well with deals in this area. The high-end HS80 RGB gaming headset is £42 off, bringing the price down from £109.99 to £67.99. You can also get the HS80 RGB Wireless edition with a £50 saving, bringing the price down to £109.99. Corsair's flagship headset, the Virtuoso Wireless SE, is down from £199.99 to £165. On the more affordable end of the spectrum, the HS60 Haptic is down to £49.99 and the HS55 Surround is down to £44.99, and available in Carbon or White colourways. If you'd like a convenient stand and an extra dash of RGB colour for your setup, the ST100 RGB Headset Stand is currently £52.99.

On the keyboard front, there are just a couple of options – the K65 RGB RAPIDFIRE with Cherry MX Speed switches, which is currently going for £90.99, or the K70 MK.2 RGB with Cherry MX Blue switches, which is now £104.99.

If you are looking to kickstart a gaming stream, or you simply want better lighting and video for Discord calls, you'll find the Elgato Facecam with a discount, bringing the price down to £139.99, as well as the Elgato Ring Light for £40 off, bringing the price down to £149.99.

On the PC hardware front, Corsair has a few deals there too, mainly focused on power supplies and cooling. The Corsair CX550M and HX750 power supply units are all on sale, bringing prices down to £51.99 and £119.99 respectively. If you want some extra fans, the Corsair AF140 dual pack is £10 off, bringing the price down to £14.99.

As always, Prime Day deals are subject to availability, so if stock runs out, you won't be able to take advantage of the discount. With that in mind, if you have your eye on something in particular, you are better off grabbing it, rather than waiting.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
