Corsair launches HS65 Surround with Sonarworks SoundID technology

The Corsair HS65 is getting a big upgrade this year. This week, Corsair is launching the HS65 Surround, adding in the company's new Sonarworks SoundID technology and surround sound audio in an updated, comfortable design.

The HS65 SURROUND is built with a lightweight frame, an adjustable headband and plush leatherette memory foam ear pads to keep lengthy gaming or listening sessions comfortable. The headset has aluminium-reinforced construction and a mesh grill design on the outer ear cups.

The key selling point for the HS65 Surround is the addition of Sonarworks SoundID technology, a new audio technology from Corsair that uses sample audio clips to help gauge your ideal sound profile, custom-tuned to your own audio preferences. As the name of the headset implies, you also get surround sound audio, delivered through Dolby Audio 7.1.

The HS65 Surround has a 3.5mm headphone jack for universal compatibility with mobile devices and all major consoles, including PlayStation, Xbox and the Nintendo Switch. There is also a USB adapter, which you'll want to use when hooking the headset up to a PC to unlock the full range of audio features.

The Corsair HS65 Surround is available starting this week for £79.99. The headset is available in both black and white.
