Expect a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI next month

One of the most anticipated PlayStation 5 games is undoubtedly Final Fantasy XVI. Planned for release some time in Summer 2023, we have seen comparatively little from the game so far, with still much to be learned about this upcoming title. Those who have been eagerly anticipating more news will be excited to hear that the next trailer for Final Fantasy XVI is set to arrive sometime next month.

During Tokyo Game Show 2022, (as translated by ResetEra user ‘Xenosaga’) Naoki Yoshida, the producer for Final Fantasy XVI confirmed that fans can expect to receive a new Final Fantasy XVI trailer sometime next month in October.

While exciting, fans should keep their expectations somewhat in check as Yoshida did confirm that this trailer will not include information regarding the game’s release date. For that, fans will have to wait for the big blowout event, which will take place sometime following the October trailer.

Regardless of whether we get a release date or not, it is exciting nonetheless to be receiving a new trailer for Final Fantasy XVI. Each previous showcase has been more impressive than the last, and so expectations are high.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
