Horizon Forbidden West set for PC release

There are few game leakers you can trust, as there are always fake rumours floating around. However, Bilbil-kun has been responsible for unveiling upcoming PlayStation+ titles for years and has a flawless track record. In their most recent leak, it is claimed that Horizon Forbidden West will be the next big PlayStation PC release.

In a new report on Dealabs, bilbil-kun claims to have heard that Horizon Forbidden West will be the next major PlayStation game to release on PC. It could potentially be announced alongside Horizon Forbidden West: Complete Edition, which was recently rated for PS5 by Singapore's media ratings authority.

It is claimed that the PC version of Horizon Forbidden West will be announced alongside the PS5's upcoming Complete Edition, similar to how Sony handled the reveal of Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection for PS5 and PC.

Sony is anticipated to host a new State of Play stream this month, so the official announcement could be just around the corner.

KitGuru Says: When Sony confirmed its plan to withhold major exclusives from PC for a number of years, I expected that we wouldn't see any PS5 exclusives for at least three years or so. However, it would seem that a 2 to 2.5-year console exclusivity period seems to be where the company has landed. Horizon Forbidden West originally came out on PS5 in February 2022, so we should expect the PC version in early 2024 if this report is true.
