Death Stranding is heading to Xbox Game Pass for PC

The Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass Twitter accounts are both known for their teasers. While most titles coming to Game Pass this month have already been revealed, Microsoft seems to have one big surprise up its sleeve – Death Stranding for Game Pass on PC.

The PC Game Pass Twitter account, which focuses solely on updates to Game Pass for the PC platform, recently updated its profile picture to a landscape shot, with a grey cloudy sky and rain. It didn't take fans long to recognise the area as part of the Death Stranding map.

With that in mind, it would seem that the PC version of Death Stranding will soon be coming to Xbox Game Pass, but only for the PC platform. Sony owns the IP and has mandated console exclusivity for the game. The PC version is published in partnership with 505 Games and is the one exception to Sony's PlayStation exclusivity.

Whether PC Game Pass will get the base edition of the game, or the newer Director's Cut version, still remains to be seen.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
