Microsoft will soon let you stream any Xbox game you own via xCloud

Back in June, Microsoft announced a number of improvements coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming, including new low-latency tech and support for a broader range of games. Recent updates to Xbox Store pages indicate that soon Microsoft will allow you to stream any game you own via xCloud. 

Currently, Xbox Cloud Gaming only supports games on Xbox Game Pass. Back in June, Microsoft announced plans to allow users to stream the games they own digitally through xCloud servers, although there may be some restrictions on certain games if publishers opt out.

This week, Xbox fans began to spot changes to the digital store pages for games like Elden Ring, Grand Theft Auto V and Soul Hackers 2. Each page had a new cloud badge, indicating that the games are playable via Xbox Cloud Gaming.

Microsoft has not confirmed when it will roll this out, nor has it confirmed a list of supported titles yet. However, the company will be participating in Gamescom later this month, so an announcement could be coming then.
