Yakuza, Ghost Recon, Dead by Daylight and more join PS+ Extra and Premium in August

A couple of weeks ago we learned that the Yakuza series would be heading to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium in August. Today, Sony announced the full line-up of new PS+ games for the month, which includes much more than the Yakuza games.

These games will be available to those who are subscribed to PS+ Extra and Premium. Those subscribed to the base tier will still get free games this month though, and the selection is pretty good.

The list of titles landing on PS+ Extra and Premium this month include:

  • Yakuza 0
  • Yakuza Kiwami
  • Yakuza Kiwami 2
  • Dead by Daylight
  • Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands
  • Bugsnax
  • Metro Exodus
  • Trials of Mana
  • Everspace
  • UNO
  • Monopoly Madness
  • Monopoly Plus

All titles will be available to subscribers on the 16th of August. The service also grants access to a good selection of first-party games, like Spider-Man, Ghost of Tsushima, The Last of Us, God of War and more. Big third-party releases like Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Stray are also included in the library at the moment.

KitGuru Says: This isn't a bad selection of games by any means, and it covers a good spectrum, from shooters, to horror, to JRPGs and even a few casual games.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
