Monster Hunter Paradise leaks through Discord events schedule

Capcom made great strides with Monster Hunter in the west with Monster Hunter World. We've had Monster Hunter Rise since then, but we're still waiting to see what Capcom will do with next-gen console hardware, like the Xbox Series X/S and PS5. A reveal might not be too far away though, as Monster Hunter Paradise appears to have leaked.

Over the weekend, a Discord user discovered that by using the app in developer mode, they could see placeholder events that partners have scheduled, like game publishers. One such event invites Discord users to claim codes for Monster Hunter Paradise, an unannounced game.

A previous Capcom document leak revealed that the publisher is working on Monster Hunter 6. Monster Hunter World was developed under the title ‘Monster Hunter 5', so it seems likely that Paradise is Monster Hunter 6.

Unlike Rise, Paradise should launch on Xbox and PlayStation consoles. Like World and Rise, the game should also release on PC. If Capcom is planning to announce the game this year, there are three big events where such an announcement could take place – Gamescom Opening Night Live in August, Tokyo Game Show in September or The Game Awards in December.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
