Leaker claims Bayonetta 3 is coming this October

Bayonetta 3 has been one of the most anticipated Switch games since the threequel was first announced all the way back in 2017. Unfortunately, we have seen very little from the game otherwise, aside from a trailer confirming its 2022 release year. Now, ahead of an official announcement, we know exactly when it will be released.

This information comes from Nintendo insider SyluxHunter, who has in the past accurately leaked a number of Switch-related announcements, from details pertaining to the most recent Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase, to previous Nintendo announcements, and even some non-Nintendo revelations.

According to SyluxHunter, “Bayonetta 3 will release October 28”. Very few other details were given, though SyluxHunter did confirm that Bayonetta was not intended to be at the recent Nintendo Partner Showcase, saying “FYI for all the nitpickers: I never said Bayonetta 3 would be in the [previous] Partner Direct” – suggesting that another Direct will take place between now and October.

What we have seen from Bayonetta 3 so far certainly looks to be taking the series to 11 when it comes to the amount of overwhelming and abundant action on the screen. Hopefully the Nintendo Switch’s hardware is able to keep up with the game’s ambition. Fortunately it seems we won't have to wait too long to find out.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
