EA is reportedly working on a new Marvel game

EA had plenty of issues adjusting to licensed game development with Star Wars over the last decade, but the publisher eventually won fans over with Jedi: Fallen Order. Soon, EA might be picking up another license, as the publisher reportedly has a Marvel game in the works.

According to Nick Baker on the XboxEra podcast, EA is developing a new game in partnership with Marvel, but unfortunately, we don't have many other details. Previously we've seen Square Enix take on The Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy, meanwhile Sony's Insomniac Games has been working on Spider-Man and Wolverine.

We don't know what Marvel hero or group of heroes EA is working with for its new game, but many fans are likely going to be hopeful that it is Iron Man. While Anthem was a deeply flawed experience, its movement, iron suits and overall combat did seem like a perfect fit for an Iron Man game.

As mentioned, we know very little right now, so little in fact that we don't even know if this will be a console/PC game, or another gacha-based mobile game. For now, we'll just have to sit back and wait for new information.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
