From Software has ‘multiple’ new games on the way, Miyazaki confirms

Just last week, we learned that From Software already has a new game on the way, with the unannounced title entering ‘the final stages of development' just months after Elden Ring shipped. As it turns out, this isn't the only other project the studio is working on, as it has multiple directors all putting together new games simultaneously.

In an interview with Japanese site, 4Gamer, From Software President, Hidetaka Miyazaki, confirmed that the studio has been working on a second game alongside Elden Ring and that it is “in the final stages” of development. The interesting part about this is that the news comes just a few months after we last heard some buzz around a new Armored Core game. Earlier this year, From Software sent out consumer surveys specifically asking for feedback on a new Armored Core, and even included screenshots and gameplay videos.

Elsewhere in the interview, Miyazaki also added that From Software is working on “several titles directed by people other than myself”. Some of these games may stray from what we've come to expect from the studio over the last decade. Miyazaki hopes that we'll see “a different colour of direction” from the studio soon, as reported by VGC.

So far, we know From Software is working on Elden Ring DLC, and likely has a new Armoured Core game on the way, but it sounds like there is even more in the works behind the scenes.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
