Final Fantasy 7 25th Anniversary Stream happening next week

The 25th anniversary of Final Fantasy 7 is coming up and as previously promised, Square Enix will be celebrating. Today, the publisher announced that the Final Fantasy 7 anniversary stream will be taking place next week.

On the 16th of June at 11PM BST, the Final Fantasy 7 25th anniversary stream will go live. This stream will only be ten minutes long, but it promises a “first look” at what's coming down the pipeline.

Square Enix has spent the last few years working on Part II of Final Fantasy VII Remake, so we are hopeful that we'll get a development update of some sort. Other Final Fantasy 7 related games in the works include The First Soldier and Ever Crisis, both of which are heading to mobile devices in the future.

KitGuru Says: With this stream only being ten minutes, if we do get anything Final Fantasy VII Remake 2 related, it will likely only be a small teaser.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
