Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels expansion leaks ahead of Xbox showcase

Forza Horizon 5 hasn't been in the news much since launch last year, as many are still awaiting the first expansion to be announced. Just days ahead of the Xbox and Bethesda showcase, the Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels expansion has leaked via Steam.

Similarly to how Call of Duty's return to Steam leaked recently, artwork for Forza Horizon 5 Hot Wheels was uploaded to the public Steam Store ahead of an official announcement. The artwork confirms that this is the game's first expansion, and will be available separately, as well as in the Premium Add-Ons Bundle for the game.

This isn't the first time we've seen Playground Games do a Hot Wheels DLC. Forza Horizon 3 also had its own Hot Wheels expansion, and it was well received.

Not much has leaked out of Xbox ahead of its showcase on Sunday evening, so this is the first domino to fall. We can expect to see the expansion properly unveiled during the show.

KitGuru Says: I loved the Hot Wheels DLC in Forza Horizon 3 so I'm looking forward to its return here. Will you be jumping back into Forza Horizon 5 once the new expansion drops?

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
