Capcom is holding its own games showcase next week

Capcom was a huge part of Sony's State of Play stream last week, giving us new reveals for Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 Remake and Street Fighter 6. As it turns out, Capcom has even more to announce this summer, so the publisher will be hosting its own showcase next week.

The Capcom Showcase has been announced, taking place on the 13th of June at 11PM BST and will run for roughly 35 minutes. As usual, the stream will be taking place across Capcom's Twitch and YouTube channels, and a number of streamers and YouTubers will be re-streaming the showcase with their reactions included.

During the show, we can expect a deeper dive into previously announced games, so maybe don't expect Dragon's Dogma 2. Instead, we're likely going to get extra information on Resident Evil 4 Remake, future DLC for Resident Evil Village, and some more details on Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak, as the expansion launches later this month.

KitGuru Says: Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like we'll be getting a brand new game announcement during this show, but Capcom does have a lot of good stuff on the way already.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
