Blizzard is giving away Overwatch 2 beta access tomorrow through Twitch drops

The Overwatch 2 beta goes live today and it looks like more players are going to be invited than initially expected. Alongside Blizzard's own invite system, Overwatch 2 beta access will also be given away through the Twitch drops system.

If you haven't received an invite directly through Blizzard, you can obtain Overwatch 2 beta access through Twitch. All you have to do is link up your Twitch account with your Battle.net account and then accrue four hours of watch time on selected Overwatch 2 streams. As soon as the four hours are up, you'll get a claimable drop for beta access.

The list of participating streams is massive, covering 200 Twitch partners. You can swap between streams at any time without losing watch time towards the drop, and if you don't really feel like watching Twitch all day, you can keep the stream running in the background while you do other things.

All of the streams will be taking place tomorrow, the 27th of April, from 10AM PT to 6PM PT, you can find the full list of participating streams in Blizzard's Overwatch 2 beta FAQ.

KitGuru Games: Predicting the Next Half a Decade of Call of Duty Releases

Benjamin Franklin (1706-1790) famously once said: “The three absolutes in life are death, taxes and a new Call of Duty coming out every single year”. Sure enough, the US founding father has yet to be proven wrong, with Activision and a dozen studios having ensured that come the tail-end of any given year, there will be a new COD ready to release. And so, what can we expect from the franchise later this year? What about 2027, 2028 or even 2030? By looking back at the past two decades of Call of Duty games, their trends, progression and regression, I believe I can predict the next 5 years worth of annual COD entries.
