Genesis unveils new Irid 505 ARGB case in white

Genesis has announced a new model of its Irid 505 mid-tower chassis. Sporting a new white colourway, the case comes with four ARGB fans pre-installed, while a non-ARGB version is also available for $30 less, giving you the option to choose.

The Genesis Irid 505 ARGB ticks a lot of the boxes we'd expect from a case in 2022. There's a mesh front panel, behind which three fans are installed, which should mean a lot of fresh air being brought into the chassis. We also find a slightly tinted tempered glass side panel, support for up to five SSDs and pre-installed dust filters.

There's plenty of room to mounting fans too, with support for three 120/140mm fans in the front, two 120/140mm in the roof and one 120mm fan in the rear. Radiator support, meanwhile, goes up to a 280mm rad in both the front and the roof, and you could fit in a 120mm radiator in the rear as well.

One other neat option is that the Irid 505 is available in two configurations – one with the four ARGB fans for $119.99, but for $89.99 you can also get it with standard non-RGB fans, which is great if you already have your own fans or just don't want RGB. We are yet to hear on UK pricing for the Irid 505 in white.
